As a corporate executive, entrepreneur and management consultant, I have always benefited from and been a strong proponent of having a “support system” outside of the direct company or business environment. This has enabled me and the people I have worked with to create a comfortable, secure and neutral space to receive honest and productive feedback, test out new ideas, get clarification on issues, and discuss matters that may not be ready for sharing in formal channels yet.
